A family day of fun helped raise funds for charity at the annual Stanhill Village Fete held last year at West End Primary School. The day included a children’s entertainer, music, raffle, tombola, barbecue, refreshments, games as well as cakes and sweet stalls. The event featured a children’s fancy dress competition and parade with cash prizes for the most impressive costumes.
There was a bumper crowd attracted by the reputation of the longstanding event and (reasonable) weather. Proceeds from the fete are donated to local churches and charities.
