The Sing Around The Tree is a major Christmas event in the village. Organised by the Village Residents and Fete Committee it attracts hundreds of local residents from Stanhill and beyond every year.
It is a very traditional occasion with a ‘proper’ Christmas tree, coffee and mince pies, music and is free to all. In 2017 we raised funds through the collection to donate to Derrian House, a children’s hospice, in memory of Paul Thompson, a former local councillor and active committee supporter.
